Any scores from yesterday? We drew 3-3 at Werburghs. Drew 1 - 1 with The Hife, cracker of a game. We had eight lads missing for various reasons so pleased with the result and could of won. No referee again which takes the piss. I know there are shortages but it's a Blacon derby so inevitably a bit of tussle and there were a few "tasty" challenges from both sides. |

We had no ref for the Highfield game. Nev reffed it and was ok to be fair, and wouldnt take any £ for it which was sound.
We were 2 down at ht, but were the better side for the last hour. We had 13 fit players inc Oly (fit is a state of mind apparently!) and no goalie. Had to get Braz to come over to play. Matty George was fuct, came on with 25 left and 3-1 down, hobbled around, threaded one pass for 3-2, and then equalised last kick. He is a class on his own for me. Best left foot I've ever seen.

Does anyone from blacon orient know how scott taskers leg is after 1-1 draw with hife? It's fine now - he played yesterday. Bit sore for a few days but nothing serious. Karl Halal broke his leg yesterday playing for Debrella Mail unfortunately. Best wishes to him. |
