This has been the cause of several arguments in the local over the past couple of weeks.
For me it's the PDC all day. I watch as much of both of them as I can but the PDC has got that little bit extra. The Eight Rights boys are split 60/40 in favour of Taylor & Co.
There are some good players in the BDO but the standard seems to drop each year whilst the PDC just gets better. The Mardle v Taylor match was a classic and to see the way Taylor destroyed Manley in the final just showed how far ahead he is of everbody else.
But even taking him out of the equation there's more quality and quantity in the PDC. Plus they've got the legend that is Sid Waddell...
"Keith Deller is like Long John Silver - he's badly in need of another leg"
"It's just like taking a sausage from a boy in a wheelchair"
"These guys look calm but inside they are as nervous as a vampire who knows there's a sale at the wooden stake shop in the morning"

"You couldn't get any more excitement in here if Elvis Presley walked in eating a chip butty" is a personal Syd-ism.
Got our season tickets for the World Matchplay at Blackpool again. Great fun...
PDC = Premiership BDO = League 2
Jelle thingy won the BDO with an 83 average, he wouldn't get past the quarters in the PDC. Manley gets a lot of stick but he'd have walked the BDO this week, 7-0'd or not.
