Interested to know if anybody has got any hot tips for the coming year?
Everybody expects Artic Monkeys to storm it and I'm sure they will but who else can we expect to see/hear more of during 2006?
Dirty Pretty Things - Fairly obvious suggestion, Carl Barat's new band have had good reviews already and the new single is a belter. Equally as talented at Pete but without the charisma/crack habit.
The Feeling - Heard a couple of tracks on the net, very 1970's soft rock but also very catchy - reckon they could possibly match the Killers success.
Plan B - Being played to death on MTV2 at the moment is Britains answer to Eminem - not sure if thats a good thing. His real name is Ben which isn't very gangster but he is good which is all that matters I suppose.
Anybody got any other ideas?

Watch out for funeral for a friend and the new sound of nightwish, along with a new album by linkin park if they get their contract ramble sorted out. And as u said Arctic Monkeys will go places.

Stephen Fretwell, Richard Hawley and Preston Thingy being on Big Brother will send the Ordinary Boys massive.
Looking forward to seeing Billy Bragg at the Bridgwater Hall, and the Bluetones should be class too.

The Bluetones will be good, rarely fail to impress. Managed to wangle a ticket for the NME tour in Liverpool at the start of next month - Maximo Park, Artic Monkeys, We Are Scientists and Mystery Jets. Should be a top night that one.
