The ISA seemed better as a unit at the back than having one class defender. Gotta stick with my own players here again, Graham Allen.

Tougher one this I think. Maybe Stuey Riley at the Eight Rights (not many beat him in the air) but he's hit and miss in terms of turning up. Can't really put any names to faces but I can remember a lad for Werburghs who always seems to be under the ball wherever it lands.
Is the Hose still playing for the ISA? Top defender.

Two goals already this season and more crunching tackles than Julian thingys in a mood, Chris Jones of ISA gets our vote.

Not sure about best defender but i think the best defense is probably between ISA and the Brom. The ISA defense we played against on Sunday was really impressive and so is the brom back line.
I know a cuple of you have got raised eyebrows but they only concede against the top sides (i.e. 8 Rights)
But saying that i feel that werbs defense is improving drammatically.

Just remembered Brom captain. Also a great defender. Seems to want it more than most of the players in the league. Got a curly do though! Ha ha!

Have you seen the Steven Gerrard spot at full back for the Brom?!! It's a good 9.
No Greeny, Painter spends all his time in Halifax birded up. Great defender though. For me, Chris Jones and Guesty are solid, with Chris just having the edge due to his extra inches. In height, that is, not length.

We have only conceded 10 goals all league season!!!! The best defensive record in the league. That includes a 3-2 loss against the Eight rights and a 4-3 win against the bache, who shouldn't be underestimated. Greeny, the lads name is Graham Allen, hence my vote. He is extremely fast as well which helps a lot in this league. Good at handballs too(ask the ISA, lol)

Don't forget my mate Simon Maplecroft from the Royal Oak, a new signing for them, he is only 16 but fast and the best player I have seen in the air for a long time.

Biased towards the ISA but Christian Jones is up there I would say. Guesty the other ISA centre half is getting there after a time out of the game and when he gets back to full form he will be one of the best. Of the others - Ian Hughes from the Brom always looks good, the Werburghs Centre half (don't know his name but hes already been mentioned above Graham Allen?) also one of the Black Dog Centre backs stood out but don't know his name either.

Think the ISA defence have done okay but I think they really miss that balding slightly psychotic looking centre back they used to have.
Anyone know what happened to him?

Which one mate, Mella, OSD, Brighty or Coleman? There was a time when Duncan Goodhew would have been nicknamed "Hairy Dunc" by the ISA back 4!

OS Dog that's the fella.
Used to have the faint odour of tequila or gin most mornings. Class though.

Hello everyone first post on here!!! Thought I'd stay within forum tradition and show a "little" bias, Ian Hughes (brom Captain) Ian Fields get my vote, both solid.
