Anyone got any interesting news from your club?
we, the burghs have lost our keeper Rix to a knee injury for a few weeks, and we have winger Dave Stockton back from suspension, pretty exciting eh?

It's been a quiet few weeks down at Blacon High School for the Eight Rights.
We've seen the MBNA match postponed due to frost, a no show by the Red Lion and we've got more free weeks than matches over the coming month or so. It looks unlikely that we'll be making any moves on the transfer front until next season.
No injuries of note although a couple of the lad's will appreciate the break. Team night out to Blackpool next Saturday and plans in place for a Summer tour of either Barcelona or Amsterdam incorporating a few matches against continental opposition.

Were the same. Loads of free weeks although 2 have already been filled (Cup quarter final next sun against Gamekeeper, and the Bache the week after). Won Sunday 4-2 against the Bache, could and should have been about 12-2 but their keeper was outstanding to be fair.
Club do is on March 11th, 17 seater mini bus to Manchester for the day, followed by the night at Belle Vue dogs. Got to play the Bache now the day after, if anyone is going to beat us, they've got a great chance that morning!
