It's all over the place now, bearshare, soulseek, various torrents etc. Well worth it. It got battered on the way to Cheltenham last Saturday. Mind you, it wasn't the only one

You are a disgrace using illegal download sites to pinch your music from.why don`t you just go down to HMV and take it directly off the shelf...its still STEALING!!!!!!! If you want more bands like arctic monkeys etc then put something back in by buying it legally and that way bands will get invested in and not dropped at the first hurdle if a album stifs.

Get back in your pram Fing.
As soon as the Monkeys' album is out I will go and buy it. Just having a preview of it.
Besides, you want to do your shoplifting in Virgin. Much easier.

On a technicality Fing, the sites themselves are not illegal, but the people who share music on them are.
Just thought I would tip you off in case Soulseek's lawyers are watching. You may want to post an apology to them...

Like OSDog I'll also be picking up the album upon it's release. Come to think of it, without Soulseek, Bearshare and Kazaa et al would the Artic Monkey's have had a number 1 debut single and would there be so many people awaiting the release of the album?
Swings and roundabouts I guess.

Stop whinging you self righteous sod. I buy more music than anyone I know. I like to try before I buy...
The Arctic Monkeys used the internet to spread the word. It got them a number one single. Following the leak this album has got the biggest expectations I can remember for a debut, and will undoubtedly go straight in at number one.
And don't cry for all of the poor rock stars who lose 5% of their revenue (BPI figures) to file sharing. One less f**king Bentley to drive into a pool. Feel sorry for the milkmen who get up at 2am for £200 a week.

Agree with majority Artic Monkeys album outstanding,
Proclaimers album is currently wearing my CD player out still, I've become a massive fan.
I reckon the Editors will be pretty solid this year also.

Technicalities...f**k me!!! I hope the people/lawyers from Soulseek are reading this and i hope the people from the BPI,PPL,PRS and Pamra are reading this.Because my friends i know more about this than you might give me credit for. whichever way you want to put it,any type of file sharing or copying is bootlegging and its not the top acts that might not get another "Bentley" that suffer its the lower end musician`s/distibutors/Independant record stores that suffer...as for milkmen getting up at 2 in the morning well you feel sorry for them my friend but i don`t think they entertain you like the sounds out of your music system. Typical Jester music thingyS

I take it you don't need even a basic understanding of spelling or grammar to be a big shot in the music industry then. Or do you just work in HMV on a Saturday?
Anyhow, many thanks for guiding us back onto the path of righteousness.

Agree with Brighty. The Editors will have a massive hit with Munich sooner or later. They've tried enough times! Heard one today, Protocol, very 80's by numbers Killers/Bravery etc that will be massive. Unfortunately once something becomes popular, things go a bit stale. What can you do?
Oh, and Fing. Downloading promotes music, don't you get it? Try before you buy etc. You seem to be preaching to the converted pal, we may download the odd album, but compared to what I buy it's minimal.
