Just updated the Eight Rights score on the Soccer Weekend site. Another point dropped following an entertaining 3 - 3 draw with Black Dog. It now means that St. Werburghs will go level on points should they win their games in hand - it's tough at the top!

The black dog are absolutely awful, they have managed 3 shots agianst us in 3 matches this season, what happened Greeny? Did they have new signings/ringers playing?

I think it's more a case of us being off the boil than the Dog being anything to write home about. We were under the cosh in the first half and they went one up with a free header from a corner to lead at half time.
For the first half hour of the second half we blitzed them and went 3 - 1 up and I thought we had it won. Two lapses of concentration at the back saw them bag two goals in the last 6/7 minutes. One was clearly offside but Wayne "Gretzky" (he should deffo stick to ice hockey) was looking the other way - but thats not an excuse.
On the balance of the game they deserved a point for their first half performance. I ended up getting MOM which probably tells it's own story. I think a few of the lads are a bit low on confidence but we'll get it right next week.

No doubt u will. Who u playing?
Wev'e got an interesting one, away to the Brom. If we win it effectively means they have no chance of winning the league.

We've got Tarporley in the Cup. If we win that, we are through to the Quarters for the first time ever.

We've got MBNA at home on Sunday. They seem to be doing alright in the league but I haven't heard any reports - is Lombardo still playing for them?
I have heard a few favourable reports about the "Field of Dreams" - any opinions? Personally I still think the pitches at the bottom of Gorse Hill are the best around - if only the college would rent them out.

The field of dreams is the best pitch u will ever play on mate. Lombardo is still playing mate, but the rest of the team is nothing to shout about. Tommo in midfield aint bad.

To be fair, the pitches at the bottom of Gorsey are class, but MBNA is a UEFA Class 1 pitch. Lovely.
